HOW TO BUY INVESTMENT DIAMONDS

Investment diamonds are top-quality diamonds where you can store wealth when crises are due. 2023 everyone feels there is a massive crisis coming to hit the shores, the question is where to run to ?.

If you are one of those hundreds of thousands who don’t know where to run to, then let me help you to see the light.

  1. Always buy Natural diamonds to hold value ( they are +- 1 billion years old and are rare fancy-colored diamonds ).
  2. Never buy lab-grown they are worthless ( production can take about 3 to 4 days, never-ending).
  3. Diamonds have value based on 4 factors :
    • Carat Size ( weight )
      • Color ( D; E; F; G.H.I ) D is the top color down to Z
      • Clarity IF; VVS1 ;VVS2: VS1.VS2, SI1. SI2 ETC. Clarity is very important in the value.
      • Cut ( cut shape ) Round is the most expensive all the others have the same value
      • Fluorescence ( this is one of the factors that gives low value to diamonds when you go and resell them

THE SECRET OF THE INVESTMENT

  • When buying a Natural diamond for investment always buy above 1 ct in size
  • Attention to clarity: only buy IF, VVS1, VVS2 VS1 VS2 ( never below ).
  • COLOR is extremely important: only buy colors D, E, F, G, and H ( never below ).
  • The Certificate: GIA / HRD don’t buy any other certificate, make sure the certificate number is lasered in the diamond. (all certificates mention lasered if they have been ) .
  • The Flourescense : ( investment diamonds always – NONE fluorescence )
  • The buying price should be at a 30 to 35 % discount, if it is not, you buying bad into an investment

In my Vision in a financial crisis in 2023 when all goes to the ground, two investment assets will skyrocket, physical “Gold – Silver and Natural diamonds “. but the best is Natural diamonds

1 carat is 0.02grms = color D, clarity IF, Round, and GIA certificate is valued at $11.760.

1 gram of a diamond is = 5 carats x $11.760 = $58.800 almost the same as 1 kg of Gold 24 K is valued at $58.600, But today 1 kg of diamond = 5.000 cts of this high quality would be valued at $58.800.000 (fifty-eight million USD, do you still have doughts?

The light at end of the tunnel tells us the bigger the diamond the higher the value. below let us analyze this example 5 ct size diamond = 1 gram in weight, D color clarity IF Round, Gia will cost $316.750, this means if you invested in 1 kg of diamonds of 5 carats = 5.000 cts same as above size you would have $316.750.000 and not $58.800.000 with the exact same weight but the different size of diamonds.

Cut & Polish your rough diamonds

Rough diamonds have low value before they are cut and polished. The big issue is who do we sell it to after it is polished, and how well polished it is because all is added value.

The color of the diamond is very important to add value ( D.E:F: G etc ) .

The clarity of a diamond is not less important to ad value ( IF: VVS1:vvs2:Vs1 and so on ).

The fluorescence o a diamond is also extremely important when the time for sale arrives.

The certification of a diamond will contain all the above, plus the cut and polishing grade.

See the images below to understand the process.

This whole process takes about 45 days to conclude, all the above is smooth when it comes to selling then you need to have top channels to commercialize your diamonds, and sometimes takes months or years.

We at Vitor Rita Diamond Traders located in Antwerp have the experience and the channels to do all of this for you.

Bring your diamonds to us and we will make them shine, and bring you back the added value. We charge for our services but you will be happy as hundreds of clients are happy now.

” The Big Bang” Natural round diamond with 14.12cts

I believe that you don’t choose a diamond but the diamond chooses you. We have found one! This specimen has an age of over 3 billion years or may even date so far back as the “Big Bang” itself, who knows! Incredible !! We could not cut or polish it with normal machines because it is so hard in its Carbon atom structure, it just doesn’t allow us to alter it in any way, so we decided to keep it Natural and make a unique designer’s jewelry piece.

“The Big Bang ” Jewel

It is composed of a spherical extra hard natural diamond, 14.12 Carats in weight , 18 K Yellow Gold and a 1 carat Natural diamond with color K and VVS clarity certified in a reverse-set position ( upside-down ) and 4 natural diamonds 0.50 CT in size on top in an inverted position too. This is to demonstrate how the Carbon atoms composition of this round diamond captured in the center of the gold structure is pointing out and that is why it makes it so strong ( indestructible ), therefore unable to cut and polish.

The Natural diamond 14.12 ct

“The highest Spiritual link between a human and this energy jewel will take this diamond jewel home. Let´s leave the financial side of it out for this one ” .

Imagine all the secrets that this diamond must be holding inside. It does not allow us to break it open and read its soul, and that is the result of extreme high temperature and high pressure this diamond went through for billions of years, to now surface out and choose its soul mate. The unique human this diamond will choose . I believe God has created this diamond for someone really special who was chosen a few millions years back . So we are not going to sell it to the highest financial bidder , but only to that one person holding the highest spiritual interlink with this diamond.

How will we know who the future owner is going to be , some may ask ? I am myself a spiritual man and I believe that the diamond will choose its Soul Mate and give me the signal for whom it has chosen .
We determined a value number based on costs which is xxxxxxx and whoever offers that exact number will take the jewel . This would be the perfect sign that The Link should be there .
At the bottom of this page is the contact form where you can type in the number, or “the Perfect mathematical Number , may I say. ” based on these 9 characters ” 00.000.00 ” (number includes cents) .

The Diamond that looks like a moon under the light .

If you don’t think this is extraordinary , then you don’t qualify for this one .

The designing process for the special jewel

We have been working on this diamond since we bought it on October 2020, in Antwerp .

I discussed many ideas with investors and some of my diamond and jewelry colleagues and we decided to cut and polish to see inside, in search of its hidden soul . It went from company to company and all said that they cannot polish it, as it just doesn’t any of their machines break the window . It is so hard, it turns the polishing wheels on fire . We could try doing it with a laser , cut it in half and try polishing it from there but if it doesn’t work out properly we would destroy an incredible piece of nature and history . This diamond does not want us to break in , so why not keep its soul enclosed ?

So i thought lets make something different and special that can show the world a unique piece of jewelry .

Called in ,a Jewelry Designer that works with us on special creations ” Andrei Maftei ” and in a few weeks we developed a few concepts for this Special diamond that would fit exactly his wishes. ” see below “.

first ideas in march 2021
other options come up
other ideas and options were designed
" the big bang jewel "
finally the diamond was talking to us and telling us what he wanted ,
Yellow gold as it comes from the earths center represents the planet earth

Design explanation of this jewel

Yellow gold structure – represents the earth ( precious , protective and strong )

4 diamonds on top inverted – the light of the 4 diamonds goes back through the table back to the round diamond making it the center of the attention .

The inverse diamonds represents the Carbon atoms of this center round diamond composition which point outwards from the center making it very hard to cut and polish .

The inverted Dimond at the bottom is a symbol of a time pendulum representing time from beginning to eternity. ” When all humanity will be gone I will still be here in the center of it all registering time for eternity ” .

Premium for strong fluorescence

Diamond Education |

How beautiful it is , a diamond that can have two colors . A day color white, and a night color( blue ) under UV light that most bars , night clubs , restaurants and chic place have everywhere . Let everyone see your glow at night .

In some diamonds, a soft glow is present when they are subjected to ultraviolet light, such as a black light. This is what we refer to as Diamond Fluorescence, a topic that has been widely disputed in the diamond industry. However, results have been inconclusive and experts cannot agree on what the influence that fluorescence truly has on a diamond. Ultimately, you should not allow the existence or absence of diamond fluorescence to greatly affect your decision to purchase a diamond. It mainly comes down to personal preference and aesthetics.

Diamond Fluorescence is caused by the natural mineral properties of the diamond and has been studied numerous times by the Gemological Institute of America, or the GIA, to gain a better understanding of the debated issue. A study in 1997 done by the GIA suggested that the presence of fluorescence makes very little difference in the appearance of a diamond. Despite these findings, the existence of fluorescence has greatly influenced the pricing of diamonds.

Most Jewelry designers love strong fluorescence and say this gives extra features to the diamond ( two colors ) and clients love it . The professional trade however has found a loop here to push diamonds price down and argue that fluorescence destroys the glow of the white diamond mainly if they are top colors , my question is why ?

So if I too think is unique and fantastic for a diamond to have “strong fluorescence” and decide to charge a primum of 3 % to all diamonds from the 4 of July 2021 .

We love it so much we have created a brand for it ” WhiteBlue diamonds”.

WHAT IMPACT DOES FLUORESCENCE HAVE ON THE APPEARANCE OF A DIAMOND?

GIA studies show that, for the overwhelming majority of diamonds, the strength of fluorescence has no widely noticeable effect on appearance. In many instances, observers prefer the appearance of diamonds that have medium to strong fluorescence. In rare cases, some diamonds with extremely strong fluorescence may appear hazy or oily; fewer than 0.2% of the fluorescent diamonds submitted to GIA exhibit this effect.

DOES FLUORESCENCE COMPROMISE THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE DIAMOND?

No. A diamond that fluoresces has the same integrity as one with no reaction to UV. Submicroscopic substitutions and/or shifts in the diamond structure can cause fluorescence as well as prevent it. Nothing in either instance inherently weakens or is bad for the diamond.

ALROSA $365m in May Sales

May sales of Russian miner ALROSA net 365 million USD, including proceeds from rough diamond sales of $346 million and polished diamond sales of $19 million, resulting in a total of $1,926 million diamond sales during the first five months of 2021.

According to Evgeny Agureev, Deputy CEO of ALROSA, these results demonstrate strong demand coming from Indian midstream, despite the epidemiological situation. He also states end-demand for diamond jewelry remains robust in all key regions, adding that for the first four months of the year jewelry sales exceeded pre-COVID levels of 2019 by 30% in USA, and by 10% in China.

Rio Tinto Announces Final Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender

Pink Diamonds

Rio Tinto unveiled a preview of its final showcase of rare Argyle pink, red and blue diamonds from its iconic mine. As mining ceased at Argyle on 3 November 2020, the 2021 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender showcases the final collection from the last year of Argyle operations, with viewings set to take place in Perth, Sydney, Singapore and Antwerp over the course of the next three months.

“A historic collection of extraordinary diamonds and a testament to the amazing Argyle ore body and the men and women who have worked so hard to bring these diamonds to market”, says Sinead Kaufman, Chief executive of Rio Tinto.

The tender is titled The Journey Beyond, comprises 70 diamonds weighing 81.63 carats and has a record number of diamonds larger than one carat. It’s headlined with Lot Number 1, Argyle EclipseTM, a 3.47 carat diamond that is the largest Fancy Intense Pink diamond ever offered at the Tender.

For the past 38 years, the Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender is an annual invitation-only event, widely considered to be the most anticipated diamond sale in the world, showcasing the pinnacle of Argyle’s production to an exclusive group of invitees, making this last one historic.

“The Argyle pink diamond story has continued to enthrall throughout the years following the remarkable discovery of the Argyle mine in 1979. The final Tender collection of these beyond rare diamonds will be keenly sought after as heritage gemstones of the future, coveted by collectors and connoisseurs from around the world”, commented Patrick Coppens, General manager of Sales and Marketing at Rio Tinto.

The 2021 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender will be showcased in Perth, Antwerp, Singapore and Sydney, subject to COVID-19 protocols. Bids close on September 1, 2021.

ALROSA April Sales Net US$401m

ROUGH MARKET12/05/2021 15:17

Russian miner ALROSA records a strong performance with total sales in April amounting to US$401 million, which includes proceeds from rough diamond sales of US$383 million, and polished diamond sales of US$18 million. For the first four months of 2021, total rough and polished diamond sales accounted for US$1,561 million, of which US$1,509 million for rough diamond sales and US$51 million for polished.

Last April due to government-imposed lockdowns and the group’s commitment to its price over volume strategy, they sold US$15.6 million worth of rough and polished diamonds, whereas in April 2019 total sales reached almost US$319 million. Total sales during Q1 (Jan – Mar) of 2021 were reportedly higher than in the last two years. In 2020 the total amounted to US$904 million, and in 2019 the total was US$1 billion, indicating a positive start to the new year.

“In April, demand for diamond jewelry in the key markets continued to remain sustainably robust. Rough diamonds’ stocks at the mid-stream remain modest, while the supply of the rough diamonds gradually moves to a deficit state as global diamond production capacities are structurally reduced. Our April sales were well supported by the successful results delivered by auctions of high-quality large rough, as well as by strong sales of polished diamonds”, said Evgeny Agureev, Deputy CEO of ALROSA.
